The clock tower complex (Abraj Al Bait) towers over the holy mosque and is unmissable. It contains hotels, a large multi-level shopping mall, restaurants, and a clock tower museum near the top with astronomical and timekeeping exhibits and panoramic views of the holy mosque. It is the best place for shopping, eating, and rest within steps of the mosque.
